Amazing food for a good price

I am not a picky eater I usually eat just about anything. I think that place is terrible. just one minute up the road go to Golden Corral, much better food well worth a little bit more money spent.

We always have a great meal at Star Buffet. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is abundant with many, different choices, including many American entrees, and there are many selections for salads and desserts. You can't go wrong here, especially since the price is very low.

That's a good place to have a lunch or diner if you like shines foods. It's not an expency there are parking area and rest room. It was good for me

I come here once a week for lunch. For two people for lunch it's like 13 bucks! Can't beat that! Food is good they also have fresh fruit icecream and sushi. The service is great! I come here so much they allow me to seat myself and they already know what we like to drink. I never have to ask what I want to drink they always know! Great place great food and the service is awesome!!!! I love it here

WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!!!😖😫🤢🤮Two people in our group of four got SICK FROM THE FOOD! If you want Stomach Pains, feeling like you Want to Throw Up, and Many Visits to the Bathroom then by all means eat here. If not steer clear of this place! Most of the food was cold and or tasted off and looked like some dishes were sitting a while. Your shoes will stick/suction to the carpet with every step you take🤪. There is no grill so not sure why grill is in the name??? Not many people dinning in the place which tells you a lot when eating during prime lunch time...🙄 Best thing in the place was the pineapple and icecream. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK!

GOT ILL before even leaving this restaurant! 🤢😩😨 The cost is not worth it...I won't be returning! The ice cream was the only good thing. Most of the hot food items were not kept hot and not par for my experiences with Chinese food. I'd rather order takeout from my local small Chinese restaurant where I know the food is served steaming hot and I've never gotten I'll.

Year's ago we ate here at least once or twice a month. The food was good at that time and the restaurant was well taken care of. I don't believe we have been there for at least five years. After today's visit we will never eat there again. The place is a wreck. The seats are all torn and some, in my opinion are not useable. The food was cold and some looked like it had been there since 11 Am when the place opened. We were there at dinner time. It really looks like this place may be waiting to close permanently.

They charged us for TAP WATER. Food was awful, the waitress had some bad breath. And the grill was totally unattended, the man that ran it took my plate and came back 10 minutes later from the back room with an overcooked plate of what I had given him. I used to enjoy this place but it has gone way down hill ever since they reopened. If you MUST have Chinese food, go to Manor buffet down the road. It's a little bit more expensive, but at least the staff do their job and the water is free.The photo attached to this review is from the location pre-shutdown when it was still decent.

From a local: save yourself don’t eat here! Only tourists eat here because they don’t know better. They are constantly failed on health inspections and children were rushed to the hospital for lye poisoning after eating here in 2017. They should have been closed down 2 years ago. No idea how they are still in business.

We thought the place was abandoned until we started seeing other cars pull in.Definitely could use some updates, the booths were ripped up.we went for dinner at 5 and it tasted like the food's been sitting all day. I could have broke a window with the breaded shrimp. I would only go back if it was the only place available

Amazing food! Great selection...cooked wonderfully. And the staff though foreign are very well practiced in American culture and leave you alone. High booths make privacy easily attainable

This is one of the best American- Chinese buffets I have ever been to. I have been going here for years and the quality is consistent. They offer a to-order Mongolian grill, sushi, and common American-Chinese food. The price is amazing cheap at like 7 per person.

Ive always had a good experience here, sometimes they aren't om their game but all around ive been quite happy eating here

Do yourself a favor and head to Manor Buffet instead. The price is comparable and the selection is far superior. To say Star Buffet is depressing is an understatement. In shock we didn't get food poisoning...

Gross. The booths are all ripped up, the chairs have holes in them. The food was cold and old. Paid way too much money for old food and attitude from the one waitress. They didn't want to put any fresh food out either. The bathrooms were so hot and humid like a sauna.

We went here several years ago and the food was great. Fast forward to 10/6/2019 and it's was a completely different story! The parking lot was almost empty, so we thought they were closed. The food had been sitting out for a long time and was dried out. The decor is very old and in desperate need of updating. It's dark, the carpets are dirty and the booth seats are torn and cracking. The tables all wobble. They don't even use the grill anymore. A waitress told is that not enough people use it, so they closed it down. The floor was slippery, like it was covered in grease. I had to be very careful how I walked so I didn't slip. I did tell several employees, but they either didn't understand me, or pretended not to. Extremely disappointed. We will not be back. Someone needs to call Robert Irvine for this place to make it much longer!

Out waitress was really kind and patient. My sister and I appreciated that we were able to eat vegan meals while my father enjoyed his favorite dishes as well.

Once of the best Chinese buffet in the United STATES, really tasty authentic Chinese food, run by a nice working family with their grandma.it is really really cheap for this area . Please try for bealive....and for you people who complain what hell you eat for 10.99 ,a coffe at Starbucks or 2 eggs at IHOP!!!

This is a great place to eat The food was good and there is plenty to choose from.They have good deserts and fresh fruit.I will give them a thumbs up!

Our family frequents this place about once a year. Overall we enjoy it; especially the large selection of food. The ice cream and the small donut like pastries are tasty!However, it seems they hardly have enough of customers (at least from 6-7:30pm) to keep the food as fresh as some other Chinese restaurants. Also, the building could use a little updating.

Food was old and left out in the buffet. We got there at 8pm and they dont close till 10:00pm and not a single fresh food item was brought out the entire time.

Some food wasn’t good, couches are ripped and several sauces are too thick... The waitress gave us the bill while me and my family was eating. It’s an ethical.

The price is great! They have Hershey's hand dipped ice cream! As a Pennsylvania resident, you know I love me some Hershey's ice cream. I also appreciate the fact that they offer a lot of seafood on their buffet. There is plenty of parking and real Asian people wait on you... no white kids in costume. Tea is still free along with water. Some Asian restaurants charge for the tea. Everything is on the buffet. No need to order off the menu, other than beverages, but you can get takeout.

This place used to be great several years ago. But now, all the booth seats need to be replaced since the vinyl is ripped. The carpets are filthy, the floor is slippery. There's a limited choice of dried out food. They don't even use the grill anymore. Our waitress told is that's because not enough people ordered grilled food. We have no idea how they are still open. Someone needs to call Robert Irvine if they want to continue to stay open. We will not be back.

The place was not anything close to getting more than 1 star. Their food was at most ok. They had cold food, and everything tasted bland and flavorless. The service wasn’t bad, but they spoke very minimal English. There was also this creepy lady that sat in the darker room and just watched us eat, and clearly worked for them. Really uncomfortable to be eating and see someone staring at you. Also very depressing atmosphere due to there only being another family there

People say that this is a bad place but I don't really see what the problem is. There is a lot of food and the waiter is friendly. It's clean and there's nice decoration here. Never had a problem with this place in my life.
